I had put off writing this week, but my routine could not let me do so. I therefore decided to write and wish you a merry Christmas and a prosperous 2020 for two reasons.

The first reason why you should have a merry Christmas and a prosperous 2020 is that you made God to swear that His every promise to LAT will by all means be fulfilled. I am sure you recall that in October, two dreams came through Esther Kusasira Mayani, in which God asked us to give Him our best as a church – worship. When we obeyed; by holding a special worship service, God did to us what He did to Abraham when he sacrificed his best (Isaac) – He made an oath to us. It is always wonderful when God makes promises. However, that does not compare to when He swears or makes an oath.

For several reasons which I cannot discuss today, sometimes God’s promises never come to pass. However, there is nothing in the universe that can foil, or hinder something for which God has sworn. Even God Himself can never change His mind when it comes to His oaths. For that matter, on 27th October 2019, when we gave God our sacrifice of worship that He specifically asked for, His promises to us became something greater and unchangeable – they became oaths. Hallelujah! Therefore, no devil, no witch, no false prophet, no individual can stop LAT from becoming that which God said it would. This definitely drives the Devil and his co-laborers mad.  However, getting mad and causing some inconsequential trouble is all they can do.

Now, it is because of your participation that our worship as LAT became something of great pleasure to God, causing Him to request for it so that He can swear. Together with our great and dedicated worship team, you made our worship delightsome to God which ultimately resulted in Him swearing that every promise to LAT as a body must without fail come to pass.

The second reason I am wishing you a merry Christmas and a prosperous 2020 is on account of your financial support. It might be hard to believe, but LAT has sailed smoothly through the year in as far as meeting our financial obligations is concerned. Our collections could never make news headlines. However, they were enough for the work of God to proceed unabated, even before God swore that we are unstoppable. Inasmuch as I thank God who provided those monies, I also thank you, the willing vessel through whom God provided. Thank you for giving to the Lord.

For getting God to make an oath to LAT, and for your financial support, you surely deserve a merry Christmas and a prosperous 2020.

Amen.
