In this year 2020, God plans to prosper you materially and answer your prayers on condition that you walk in the fruit of the spirit, which essentially is delighting in His word.

It is written, “Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.” (Psalm 1:1-3). This portion of Scripture is what the Lord used to communicate to me His will towards you this year. All He requires of you is to be a willing participant. If you live by His word; shunning the ways of sinners, God will see to it that you prosper and experience fruit in all things.

Now, I need to emphasize that financial prosperity is one of the fruits that you will bear this year. At the same time, I must also emphasize that your financial prosperity will be a product of your generosity. It is written, “The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself” (Proverbs 11:25).

As you walk in love (the fruit of the spirit), you should also purpose to be a giver. If you work with God by freely sharing of your resources in the way He leads you, He will do His part of increasing you financially. If you consistently and joyfully obey the Kingdom law that when you give you receive, a time will come this year when you will no longer experience financial depression.

Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you. (Luke 6:38)

Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, Who delights greatly in His commandments. His descendants will be mighty on earth; The generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches will be in his house, And his righteousness endures forever. Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness; He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. A good man deals graciously and lends; He will guide his affairs with discretion. Surely he will never be shaken; The righteous will be in everlasting remembrance. He will not be afraid of evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord. His heart is established; He will not be afraid, Until he sees his desire upon his enemies. He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever; His horn will be exalted with honor. (Psalm 112:1-9)

Amen.
