On the 7th of August 1975, Bob Jones, a Prophet who passed away in 2014, was for a short period taken up to heaven. While there, he saw many people queued up before the Lord Jesus Christ who was welcoming them into heaven; they had died. When an eleven year old girl approached the Lord, the Holy Spirit said of her, "There are few that have been as great as her!"
For everyone of us, our innermost desire should be to get the same commendation which that little girl received. Assuming your name is Emuron, concerning your life, God should tell people, "There are few as great as Emuron." This does not have to be after your passing on, it can start now, when you wholly commit yourself to living for Him who died for you (2 Corinthians 5:15).
Recently, while reading the book of Joshua, I was awestruck when I realised that Joshua did not falter in his service to God. Unlike Moses who preceded him, and many leaders who lived after him, Joshua has nothing negative recorded of him. Just like him, we too should resolve to live for God's pleasure. When we do so, it will not be long before Jesus tells us, "There are few as great as you."
Giving generously and cheerfully pleases God. In the book Financial Prosperity - Breaking The Back Of Poverty, I write about two ladies - Mariam Kitunzi Kalibbala and Vivien Patricia Ssanyu. More than two years ago, in dreams of the night, God told them to imitate me as far as giving is concerned. However, I have never heard Him say to me or anyone that there are few as great as me concerning giving. My ambition therefore is to reach that level.
In fact, it would be a great idea if we started competing for the position of Greatest Giver. What do you think? There are individuals in my church, people like Rachel Ashaba, Dennis and Christine Mugimba, Judith Kiiza, Denise Uwamwezi and many others who I am afraid are greater givers than me. But come the year 2017, I must out compete them.
Concerning the prophetic ministry, in my opinion, no prophet has demonstrated it more powerfully than Prophet Elvis Mbonye. Having said that, my desire is that one day God will say of me, "There has not arisen in 'Uganda' a prophet like Moses," (Deuteronomy 34:10). At that time, prophets like Elvis Mbonye, Paul S. Jaiser and Joan Isoke who are for now greater than me will rightly acknowledge that, "There are few as great as Prophet Moses B. Musinguzi." By the way, I am not joking!
As this year ends, ask God for the grace to make you exceptional in your calling and giftings in 2017. Put your God-given talents to work, and let your character be Christlike. When that happens, God will say of you, "There are few that have been as great as you."
God bless you.
