God is love (1 John 4:8). All that He does, including judgment, is an expression of the love that He has for us. Our Father God want us His children to know and experience His love, which reaches way beyond what our finite understanding can encompass. In the midst of all the bad we might suffer in this world, God desires that we take breathers of love; intervals of rest to just inhale and enjoy His abounding love for us.

Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you (Jeremiah 31:3).

Is Ephraim My dear son? Is he a pleasant child? For though I spoke against him, I earnestly remember him still; therefore My heart yearns for him; I will surely have mercy on him, says the Lord (Jeremiah 31:20).

But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more” (Jeremiah 31:33, 34).

God has a covenant with you, to love you with an everlasting love. His heart yearns for you. Every time you see the sun, the moon and the stars, be reminded that you will never cease to be a dearly loved child before Him.
