If you are looking for evidence that God still does miracles, look no further than your church, LAT. That we are effortlessly existing with ever increasing glory is amazing. As the Pastor, all I can do is thank God and you faithful members for the miracle of our thriving. 

At the beginning of this year, I fasted for 40 days, eating after 6pm each day. During that time of fasting, one of the things I prayed about was that the glory of God would increase in our church. At the time, I was reading the Bible cover to cover, and on the 40th day of the fast I “chanced” upon 2 Chronicles 7, which begins with the glory of God filling the newly built temple of Solomon. Then the Lord told me, "It is no coincidence that on your last day of the fast you are reading this passage. There goes your answer; just as you have desired, My glory shall fill LAT." 

It therefore comes not by accident that around that time Kenneth Babu, an excellent keyboardist, joined us. And obviously the Tower of Worship dream evidently depicted how glorious God considers our worship. Even a carnal person can recognize that our worship these last few Sundays has been amazing. May God bless John (who makes the song lists), Norman, Emuron, Ddamba, Barbara, McKenzie, Viola, Colin, Pheona, Andrew, Kenneth and William for cooperating with the Spirit of worship. This wonderful team is responsible for ushering in the glory of God. 

Then we come to money. To this day, I am amazed by how all our weekly financial obligations are met without hassle by the small congregation that we are. To me, I can only explain LAT’s giving as a miracle. Every Monday, Rachel lets me know that "all is cleared". If I were a skeptic concerning the supernatural, your giving every week would be enough to convert me. Kathryn Kuhlman used to say, "I believe in miracles because I believe in God." For me I say, "I believe in miracles because of how God, through you, pays LAT’s bills." 

Seeing that God uses you, I must thank you for actively being a part of what God is doing in our church. May the ease with which money comes to LAT be manifest in your life. Mike Murdock says, "The anointing you sow into, is the anointing you reap." That will be true in your life.

This Friday, our worship team members who every Sunday lead us into the Presence of God, are going out for dinner. Guess who is paying? You. Actually, you already footed their bill - you have given so much, that Rachel found herself with extra monies to ‘house’ Norman and company. 

Accompanying our choir to the dinner will be great Martha, Shakira and Prisca. These three have labored so much in instructing our children in the ways of the Lord. Surely an eternal reward awaits each one of them. Very soon a dinner will be hosted in honour of Martha and group; then it will be the Worship team to accompany them. Good idea? I think it is. Faithful laborers need to be appreciated.

Keep praying and fasting for greater dimensions of God’s glory in LAT. And continue giving, so that we as LAT can continue to fulfill our heavenly vision. Of course even the dinners will not stop.

As we worship our God in Spirit and truth, LAT will without fail become God’s temple of great magnificence, fame and splendor (glory) in the sight of all nations. And, since we are joyful givers, there will never be financial depression in your lives.
