The Father is seeking true worshippers, those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4:23). You and I should be those worshippers. But more than that, we should be the best, if only we get to know the One worthy of true worship.

At Last Adam Tabernacle (LAT), there is a young lady, Pheona, who is growing in leading worship. Last Sunday, I told her, "You can become the best if you really wanted to. For now, you have the most important thing needed as far as worshipping God is concerned - a passion for God."

If we are to offer God acceptable sacrifices of praise and worship, we must be deeply in love with Him. Lip service will not do. Only that which comes from the depths of our hearts is the worship that God will be pleased with, for waters full of the life of God spring from the heart (John 7:38).

But, how can we passionately love and worship a God we do not know? Of course if we are to go by head knowledge, we all know God. Only a fool would deny the existence of God (Psalms 53:1). But the knowledge of God required to sincerely worship Him who is so good is the experiential knowledge - that which comes from God revealing His awesome Person to us.

If you want to be a worshipper known and adorably talked about in heaven, this is my prayer for you: That God will reveal Himself to you more and more; that He will enable you to experience and enjoy His great love which is beyond mental understanding. When that prayer is answered, that will be the beginning of true worship, for we must know Who we worship (John 4:22).

The four living creatures in Revelation chapter 4 who night and day do not tire in worshipping God do so because every passing moment, they are beholding and experiencing He that seats upon the throne. The twenty four elders who worship and even cast their crowns before God (Revelation 4:10) do so because worship is the automatic response of experientially knowing the One who is so lovely. They love Him because they see and feel the love that He is.

Norman, Pheona and all the worship team at LAT, may you all continue to seek to know God. And for the Praise teams and Christians all over the country, who have a hunger to be the best before God as far as worshipping Him is concerned, I sincerely pray "that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of . . . revelation in the knowledge of Him," Ephesians 1:17.

Strive to become the second best, because I will always be the first best worshipper of God.

God bless you.
