I had a dream in which Pastor Moses was telling me that the reason why he repeats dreams and the things God tells him is because we learn through repetition. He emphasized to me that repetition keeps the destiny in focus. “By repetition,” he said, “Our destiny is never out of sight.” Joan Tumuhairwe Isoke.

When I was a student at University, I heard an audible voice telling me, “If you joyfully obey the laws of giving and receiving, you will never see financial depression in your life.” My guess is that every time I talk about financial prosperity, those who have listened to me over the years are waiting for the line: If you joyfully obey the laws of giving and receiving, you will never see financial depression in your life.

I was amused by a one Andy Mugisha who said that as he read my book Financial Prosperity, he also counted the numerous times that sentence “If you joyfully obey the laws of giving and receiving, you will never see financial depression in your life” appeared. Probably unknown to Andy, it was deliberate to repeat myself over and over by saying, “If you joyfully obey the laws of giving and receiving, you will never see financial depression in your life.”

Even in this article, it is intended for your own good when I keep writing, “If you joyfully obey the laws of giving and receiving, you will never see financial depression in your life.” I know you are now bored and pissed, but it will do you well to joyfully obey the laws of giving and receiving so that you never experience financial depression.

I learnt the art of deliberate repetition from the Bible. Jesus always repeated Himself. Paul and all the other apostles imitated Jesus, they constantly repeated themselves.

Let us take 2 Corinthians 9:8-11 as an example. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have abundance for every good work. 9 As it is written: “He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever. 10 Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, 11 while you are enriched in everything for all liberality.

In all those four verses, Paul was saying just one thing: because of your giving, more is going to be given to you so that you can continuously have what to give. Simple. Paul was a good teacher; he knew that repetition is the key to retention. He also understood that the attention of humans drifts to and from the subject matter as they read or listen. By saying the same thing four times but in different ways, Paul made it impossible for his readers to miss the point.

That is exactly what I did in my book Financial Prosperity. In fact, all the key things God wanted me to address were written in Chapter One, Financial Prosperity President; the rest of the book, is simply expounding on what was already said for the purpose of retention.

A friend sent me this message a few days ago. "As I re-read Financial Prosperity, am beginning to appreciate how simple yet spiritually powerful it is. In fact, its simplicity is what makes the book more powerful!" He was impacted as he read the book again. That is one of the things repetition does. Hopefully this has stirred you up to read Financial Prosperity again.

“What you continually hear, you will eventually believe,” said Mike Murdock. That is why you have to bear with me when I continuously tell you, “If you joyfully obey the laws of giving and receiving, you will never see financial depression in your life.” I say it over and over so that it gets retained in your heart, and so you eventually believe and practice it.

I believe you now see how powerful Joan’s short dream was. God wants to do great things in our lives, including prospering us financially. By Joan’s dream, God is telling us how that is going to happen; we have to practice the art of deliberate repetition. We have to unceasingly speak and continuously read what God has revealed to us. By doing so, we cannot but prosper.

For me to write the same things to you is not tedious, but for you it is safe (Philippians 3:1). For this reason I will not be negligent to remind you always of these things, though you know and are established in the present truth. Yes, I think it is right, as long as I am in this tent (body), to stir you up by reminding you (2 Peter 1:12,13), that if you joyfully obey the laws of giving and receiving, you will never see financial depression in your life.

Interestingly, Sam Isoke dreamt about me repeatedly telling you my role in your life. That I repeatedly told you could mean it ‘ain’t sunk in yet.’ Here is Sam’s dream:

On 14th July 2017 I had a dream when we had gone for a camp meeting and we were expecting a guest speaker. As we waited, Ps. Moses began telling us over and over again that, "My purpose is to lead you into your prosperity."

God bless you.
