Sunday 15th of October was the end of my 24-day fast. I decided to fast as I inquired of God concerning some promises about LAT which I thought had tarried for too long. The fast was also to address evil forces that God had told me would be coming against me specifically, and LAT in general.

I had not planned to fast for that long, but when I started, I had a dream where I was told that 24 attacks were going to be sent against me and LAT. On waking from the dream, I remembered a dream Dr. Dennis Mugimba had had where he was told the number of days to fast, each day representing a particular attack of the enemy. So I figured that 24 days of fasting were ordained for me to neutralize the works of the enemy.

All through the fast, I was expecting a powerful dream addressing the issues I was fasting about, but none came. Then I thought it would come immediately after the fast. Nothing! Then on Monday, at about 10.30am, I heard the Lord telling me, “Remember your sermon yesterday, how you preached that I am faithful, that I fulfill all My promises. Know therefore, that that sermon from your own mouth was not for your hearers only, but also for you. All that you wanted me to address, I did so yesterday using your very lips. Everything is on schedule; I will perform My good Word to you.”

The Faithful God and Abraham

Imagine the shock I experienced when I realized that on the last day of my fast, I unknowingly preached the answer to all my concerns! God is amazing. This actually shows that the message on Sunday was from heaven and we (especially Pastor Moses) should take it very seriously – God will fulfill every promise He gave you.

If you are like me (waiting for God to speak to you in a spectacular manner about His promises that have tarried for too long), may my testimony be evidence enough that God spoke to you too on Sunday. Rest assured in knowing that God is faithful; not a word will fail of any good thing which He spoke to you, all will come to pass (Joshua 21:45).

Abraham your father had faith in the promises of God, because He knew God is faithful; and those promises were fulfilled. By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised (Hebrews 11:11). Therefore, you too should judge God faithful, so that one day you too get to see the fulfillment of the promises He gave you.

As I said on Sunday, if you cannot relate with the testimonies of Abraham and Sarah because they are in the too distant past, call me in your free time; I will tell you how God has been faithful to me over the years. Before then, never forget this one thing, that God is faithful.

God bless you.
