Recently, my wife and I were looking for land in Kira Municipality to build a house. We were interested in only Kira because this year, Joan Isoke and Christine Mugimba had dreams that we had a home there. One day, after seeing a plot that met the bare minimum specifics, we planned to meet the owner the following day. However, that evening, our friend Dennis Mugimba told us a dream he had received that night.
In the dream, he took us to Kira to buy land in a wonderful upcoming residential neighborhood which he knew in real life. That obviously meant that God did not want us to have a home on the land that met the minimum requirements. Because He cares, He had a beautiful neighborhood for us, and He revealed it in a dream just before we settled for less.
In the morning, I contacted a broker who took me to the ‘dreamt’ place. The place was beautiful, especially when I imagined how it will look like in a short while. However, its price was not beautiful – we did not have the money, yet that is the neighborhood God had chosen for us. About twenty minutes later, our official broker called saying that he wanted me to see a good piece of land. When I asked him where it was, he mentioned the exact place I had just been, which Dennis had dreamt. I thought my wife had told him the dream. She hadn’t. We then drove and he showed me the exact piece of land that the other broker had showed me.
Isn’t that God?! Do you see how He is concerned about everything in our lives? For every one of us, God has this to say concerning where we should stay: “My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest” (Isaiah 32:18 NIV). Why? Because He cares for us.
We are instructed to cast our care upon the Lord Jesus because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). For that matter, we should never, at any one moment, feel helpless. God is so interested in us that He is even willing to be involved in the minutest details of our lives. Look, He even knows the individual hairs on our heads (Matthew 10:30). Every so often, He lets us know – in spectacular ways like dreams – of His care.
You must have heard of the dreams concerning the amazing way each of my children was born, but you probably have not heard how even where they go to school was revealed to us in dreams. Kenneth E. Hagin’s book “I Believe in Visions” was subtitled “The Fascinating Personal Story of a Man Whose Life and Ministry Have Been Dramatically Influenced by Visions of Jesus”. My book would read: “The Fascinating Story of a Man Whose Life and Ministry Have Been Dramatically Influenced by Dreams from Jesus”. Obviously, for now, my personal story would not be as fascinating as Hagin’s.
God wants you to know that He affectionately cares about you. He is concerned about every detail of your life. Therefore, you should never feel helpless. All you have to do is to let Him know that He is welcome to ‘interfere’ in your business. You do that by “Casting the whole of your care (all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all) on Him, for He cares for you AFFECTIONATELY and cares about you WATCHFULLY”. 1 Peter 5:7 AMPC
By the way, we got the land – because God cares for us.
God bless you.
