On 30 December 2018, I woke up from a dream in which our church administrator, Rachel, received a letter of approval, a prerequisite for a certain work. Sadly, someone else from another church administration team was denied approval. This dream, the last in a series of prophetic revelations I received in December, meant that we as LAT had not only received God’s commendation for what we had accomplished for Him in 2018, but also approval for more work in 2019. All the dreams in this series, apart from a few other details, conveyed one message: “You Did Well in 2018”. Glory to God.
Of course we acknowledge that it is by the grace of God that we labored abundantly (1 Corinthians 15:10). Therefore, we imitate the twenty four elders by casting our crowns, the rewards of faithful service, before the throne of Him who effectively worked through us. (Revelation 4:10)
Knowing that we did great for God in 2018, we should resolve to labor for Him even more abundantly in 2019. When He has a job to be done, may you and I be the person to use. Let us desire and pray to love Him much more than last year, and let us crave to live for Him like never before. To do all this, we must ask Him for what it takes – grace. By the end of the year, we shall have received more crowns from Him, which we shall again cast before His throne in appreciation for having delighted to work with and through us.
May these words from the song I Will Never Be by Darlene Zschech minister to you:
“There are higher heights, there are deeper seas, whatever you need to do, Lord do in me”.
God bless you.
