Isaiah 53:2-3
He has no form or comeliness; and when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected by men
Last week I went to meet an elderly prophetess who is in her late eighties, living an extremely humble life. Once, a prophetically genuine friend of mine dreamt when this exact elderly prophetess owned a huge garden the size of the globe. In that dream she was seen allocating bits of her garden, the size of nations, to ministers of the gospel. These ministers would then rise to spiritual prominence in the countries that this humble and little known lady had in the spirit partitioned to them. If you did not have prior knowledge of the greatness of this meek woman, you would not give her a second look.
The people carrying your blessing are almost like that maid-servant of God, clothed in garments of humility - not necessarily in simple physical attire, but almost always have something about them that is naturally despised. When we therefore reject them consciously or unconsciously, we miss the day of our visitation. I am learning (and hopefully you too will) to seriously see people according to what God says of them, and not according to carnal judgment. God gives grace to the humble (James 4:6), so His help that you need will more often be placed in despicable vessels.
In Isaiah 53:2-3 it is prophetically said of Jesus, “He has no form or comeliness; and when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected by men.” Right there is the primary reason why the Jews rejected their Messiah who they had for hundreds of years waited for. He came to His own but they did not receive Him simply because He came in another form - meek and lowly (Matthew 11:29). Verily verily I say unto you, this is a lesson to us, any person God sends our way who appears in a not so glamorous manner we should take with great seriousness. We must at all times be able to recognize our King as He comes to us, lowly and sitting on a donkey (Matthew 21:5). Jesus said in Matthew 21:42, “the stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone.” We should never reject the stone that is meant to be the cornerstone of our lives.
Please never forget that an uncommon anointing is often found in simple and unpleasant wineskins. That is why Paul said, "We have this treasure in earthen vessels" 2 Corinthians 4:7. The reason why Deuteronomy 34:10 says, "There arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses" is because "the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth," Numbers 12:3. Right there we see greatness being a privilege of the humble. Jesus is highly exalted; His name is above all others, for at its mention every knee bows; and one day every tongue will confess that He is Lord. All that greatness was bestowed upon Him because He "made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men; and being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross" (Philippians 2:7-8). Concerning John the Baptist, Jesus said of him, “Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist,” Matthew 11:11. I believe John carried such great spiritual authority because he was willing to decrease as Jesus increased exactly as he said in John 3:30.
After reading this far, I am sure you do not want to miss your miracle when it comes. The bad news though, is that only the humble can recognize the humble. So there is no easy way out of this - you must humble yourself so that you can be able to find the treasure in the cheap.
God bless you.
