Today 31st August 2022 is exactly eight years since our church was birthed. We celebrated this milestone three days ago on Sunday 28th August. A few days prior, God communicated to us by a dream that things were going to change for good for the church. And a day after the celebration, He gave us another dream concerning our worship team. We are beginning to enter into our long awaited destiny. And in order to live long in our promised land that is now opening up, we shall have to continue doing the one thing that has kept us alive – obedience to God.

In a dream Jade Namirembe had on 25th August three days before we celebrated our eighth anniversary, she saw the church filled with many people, and the worship team having many new faces. Jade knew in the dream that this was going to be the new normal of Last Adam Tabernacle.

Then on 29th August, the Monday after the celebration service, Bruce Mayani also had a wonderful dream. In that dream, Juliana Nantaba who until recently was our exemplary worship leader, had flown in from America where she now resides, to attend the anniversary service. She came with books which she gave to every worship team member. Specifically for Bruce, Juliana gave him an electronics book as she told him that, “Since you love electronics, this book will help you because it has information regarding ‘YAMAHA’.” This dream implies that indeed Heaven recognized our celebration as worthwhile. And on that day, God blessed our worship with the impartation of knowledge and wisdom regarding their careers. Note that Bruce loves and repairs electronic music equipment. (Side note: The person of Juliana appearing in that dream indicates the high esteem God has for her and the work she did for Him as our worship leader. I pray we all emulate her).

Now, just as it was revealed to Jade, LAT is entering its new normal when we shall be much more numerically than we are now. Jade’s dream is collaborated by an open vision Esther Mayani had a few months ago, and a dream my wife Geraldine received a few weeks ago. In those two prophetic experiences, God revealed how He was going to kick start that growth.

Our prayer should be that we never stop doing the one thing – obedience – which has brought us this far. I remember a certain night a few weeks before LAT opened its doors when I went to bed late because I was listening to David Oyedepo's teachings on supernatural church growth. Early the next morning, a friend came to my home and handed me Oyedepo's book entitled “30 Years of Ministry” because that night he dreamt giving me that book. Putting two and two together I knew that God wanted to teach me how the church I was going to start would grow spiritually and numerically. I therefore read that book with uttermost seriousness, and the one thing that stood out from that book was: “only do what God tells you to do.” That is what we have endeavored to do these eight years, and it is the reason we are entering into our promises as a church. If we continue to love God by obeying Him, then we shall live long in our promises.

God bless us.
