Sometime last year, a member of our church dreamt that a big name preacher in Uganda was involved in big time financial fraud, and had been arrested by a far distant country. A couple of months later, another church member also dreamt of the same preacher being involved in a multi-million dollar scam. In the latter dream, I too featured – but in good light. In that dream, because of my godly handling of church money, the dreamer said in the dream that, “This is what is called obwelufu (transparency),” and Mrs. Joan Isoke said (still in the dream) that, “This is how to lead by Jesus’ example.”

The truth of the matter is that our church giving went down last year for reasons I can only speculate. Like many of you, even LAT is living on the edge financially. Despite this unprecedented trial, I have not, and will not manipulate or steal from you. My faith is that God must pay for His work. The good news is that He has done exactly that – faithfully paid for His work at LAT. Hallelujah! The other good news is that there are signs that we are moving out of this financial wilderness, and entering into our Promised Land of abundance.

After Thursday when we prayed for a certain specific promise of God to LAT to come to pass when it should, on Sunday Mrs. Joan Isoke preached about “Entering our Promised Land”. That morning (before she preached) her son who last year dreamt that they had moved out of their new, beautiful and big house to a much smaller and rented house, dreamt that they had returned to their house. Joan understood this dream to mean a financial turn-around for her family. Interestingly, days earlier, Andrew Kulubya had also dreamt of abundance coming to the Isokes. Hallelujah!

Then a couple of days ago on Monday (just after Joan’s sermon), Esther Mayani also dreamt that she (Esther) was entering her Promised Land. In her dream a certain country was giving out scholarships and she qualified for one of them. While at the airport on her way to that country, an order was given for her documents to be checked again. Her documents were her personal notebook where she writes personal things. On the last page of the notebook, she had on Sunday written a few things from Joan’s Sunday service message “Entering Our Promised Land”. After the documents (notebook) were checked in the dream, she was told that she did not qualify to travel to her intended destination. She then started crying and prayed to God to intervene. Before long, an immigration officer came to her, opened her notebook to the last page, and then said to her that, “You qualify to cross over.” Immediately she heard those words, she remembered (in the dream) that that is exactly what Joan had preached about the previous day. Hallelujah!

Remember, the sermon “Entering Our Promised Land” was preceded by a prayer meeting for a certain promise of God to LAT to come to pass exactly when it should. Two days before that prayer meeting, Andrew had dreamt of the Isokes “abounding”. Then on Sunday morning just before the sermon, Joan’s son dreamt of a “turn-around”. A day later, Esther dreamt she was crossing over. Surely, these are all signs that although LAT is operating on the edge financially, we are actually on the verge of a big breakthrough – the beginning of the fulfilment of a certain promise God gave us, and to which He made an oath. Hallelujah!

Therefore, let us take heart and keep the faith; we are entering our Promised Land. And please remember that you too individually are also entering your Promised Land, just as Joan preached on Sunday. Simply do your part, just as Joan taught.

God bless you.
