Many of us have promises from God of things that are, naturally speaking, impossible to achieve. However, God wants you to continue believing Him for those things because, “With God nothing will be impossible” (Luke 1:37).
In the Bible we have examples of people who believed the near to impossible promises of God. However, these people believed God and they attained the fruit of their faith. For example, “By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age (she was ninety years old), because she judged Him faithful who had promised” (Hebrews 11:11). Even her husband Abraham, “Contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken (promised by God) . . . And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform” (Romans 4:18-21).
Yesterday I had a chat with one of the neighbors in my residential area. This gentleman is into real estate business and therefore owns, for the purpose of selling at a profit, several pieces of land and property within and outside Kampala. One of the places he owns land (half an acre) is Lubowa. He told me that if he decided to sell that land, he would get not less than two billion Ugandan shillings. Now remember, (forgive me for tiring you with this talk), that on 12th May 2022 God promised my wife and I, by my own dream and that of Dr. Dennis Mugimba, which dreams we had in the same night, that He was going to give us a second house in Lubowa. Now, where am I going to get two billion Ugandan shillings (at least) for just the Lubowa land, before we talk about the cost of the house? Well, I do not have to concern myself with that. My job is to, “Only believe” (Mark 5:36), because, “He who promised is faithful” (Hebrews 10:23).
Just as we have been saying since the beginning of the year, we are in the season of prophetic fulfilment of several things that God promised us in time past. God has in various ways spoken to us that we are now in the Promised Land, wherein we will see the manifestation of many (obviously not all), promises He gave us individually and corporately as a church. If God has highlighted to you the specific promises He is going to bring to pass in this particular season, but those promises are naturally speaking impossible to be realized, simply do your only job – believe Him who gave the promise. As Mike Murdock says, “God’s only pleasure is to be believed,” for, “Without faith it is impossible to please Him” (Hebrews 11:6).
God bless you.
