For those of you who missed the Thursday prayer meeting, please receive my apologies for not sharing with you earlier a very important warning dream. In that dream which Bruce Mayani had on 21st June 2023, he saw himself running all over the city of Kampala, warning whoever he met with these words: “There is a flood coming, and we need to get to a high ground.”

When I heard that dream on Thursday, I felt like it was from God, and I still feel that way. I believe that God is warning us of something very terrible and destructive that is coming to Kampala. (If this flood is coming to only Kampala, I believe it will still affect the rest of the country because, “when Kampala sneezes, the rest of the country catches a cold.”)

What exactly will that flood be? I do not know. But I know for sure that it will be a terrible thing. (Floods have never been good, and Bruce was in the dream warning people to get to a high ground so that they survive the flood.)

What exactly is the high ground to which we should flee? I believe the answer to that is found in Psalm 91:

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust. Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you . . . Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; for He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. . . . Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name . . . ”

We must really thank God for giving us a heads-up. Therefore, let us take heed to His warning of the coming flood, by fleeing to the high ground of a serious relationship with Him. Complacency in doing this spells doom, yet abiding in His secret place means peace and safety.

God bless you.
