Revelation 19:1-2
“Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power to the Lord our God! For true and righteous are His judgements
Eternal judgment is among the basic doctrines that every child of God should know as mentioned In Hebrews 6:1-2. There is a coming judgment day for those who will have refused to receive Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, and there is also a judgment day for believers. We followers of Christ “must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad,” 2 Corinthians 5:10.
We must also understand that God is not waiting for that day to unleash His judgment; He is in the judgment business to this moment of day. Realise though that His judgments are good, for He is perfect in all His ways. One thing that makes His judgments good is that they are for the purpose of rewarding our good deeds that contain Godly motives. His judgments also come in situations when we have persisted in rebellion or disobedience; He comes to chastise us as a loving Father. Chastisement, as Hebrews 12:11 states is not joyful, but painful. That means that God will often resort to spanking, in order to restore us in the right way that we should go, so that we do not destroy ourselves or those around us.
As I said earlier, the doctrine that God is a Judge (and He judges) should be elementary. However, not so many preachers are teaching it. Looks like there is a deliberate agenda to only talk about the grace of God, and suffocate anybody else who attempts to talk about His terrifying side.
Jesus is a Lamb, but He is also a Lion. We need to know that He is not only gracious, but also “tough.” We need to “behold therefore the goodness and severity of God,” Romans 11:22, otherwise some of our presumptions are going to get us in big trouble.
The Bible is clear about us judging ourselves lest God judges us. That judgment is the demonstration of His terror. Yes, TERROR, as 2 Corinthians 5:11 clearly teaches.
In August 2015, Prophet Paul Samuel Jaiser had a dream when Jesus was saying, “In this generation, Pastor Moses Musinguzi is among the few who typify me as a Lion; I wish there were more.” That dream means that Jesus wants people to warn this generation about His severity. In so doing, correction and balance shall be brought to the sad extremes some have taken the wonderful message of Grace.
I know what I am writing is not popular these days, but we need to be honest with everything Paul, the Apostle of Grace, wrote. Keenly you will notice that every Scripture quoted in this article is from the writings of Paul.
I have experienced the severity of God, even when I was at the peak of teaching about His grace. That is when I realised I had been deceived in some of the teachings I had propagated. I have come to know Jesus as a Lamb and as a Lion. I not only know of His goodness, but I have also experienced His iron hand.
It is so sad that someone (or some people) really want to halve who Jesus is. They are so zealous in only representing Him as good, that they have removed the portion about His severity from Kenneth E Hagin's book “I believe in Visions.” Hagin recounts how he was operating in the permissive (not perfect) will of God. God warned him about it but he did not take heed. So, because his life was going to be reduced by about 30 years (by the devil killing him) Jesus allowed a devil-orchestrated accident (injuring his arm) to happen so He could get his attention. All I have said about this incident was told to Hagin by Jesus who physically appeared to him while in hospital. But some fools posted an adulterated copy of that book on the Internet, with that story unlawfully removed! Really, should your passion for the grace of God make you start “messing up” books rightly ordained by God?! I hope these same people are not planning to intimidate publishers from handling the book on Financial Prosperity I am releasing soon. Hahaha.
For a clearer understanding of the “terror” judgment of God read Rick Joyner's book The Final Quest. You can also listen to a sermon I preached on 18th September 2016.
God bless you.
