Hebrews 10:7
......To do Your will, O God.

In heaven, there is a book containing the course your life is supposed to take (see Psalms 139:16). The fulfillment of your earthly journey and how great you will be in the world to come, depends on the degree to which you live according to that script God wrote about you.

Before you were conceived in your mother's womb, God knew you and had an assignment on His mind just for you. Knowing that assignment comes easy for some, while the rest have to purposely seek to know it. Whatever the case, do your best to discover your predestined calling, then go ahead and fulfill it. That way, your life will be satisfying and well pleasing to God; even more, God will reward you greatly for a life well lived serving Him.

The Bible has examples of people who did things exactly as God showed them. Moses built the Tabernacle of meeting according to the pattern God showed him (see Exodus 25:9). Solomon built the Temple following the blue print God revealed to his father David (see 1 Chronicles 28:11, 12).  Even Jesus did the Father’s will only as it was written of Him in a book (see Hebrews 10:7). You and I should also get the pattern of our lives and live according to that blue print.

Last Adam Tabernacle (LAT) as a church, also has a pattern which God reveals unto us bits by bits. We endeavor to only do what is revealed and instructed. One night, weeks before LAT started, I slept late while listening to messages about church growth by Bishop David Oyedepo. The following morning, Apostle Ronald Yiga came and handed me a book “On Eagle's Wings: My First 30-Year Adventure in Ministry” by Bishop David Oyedepo. Apparently Apostle Yiga had dreamt that night when he was picking that book off his shelf, and giving it to me. Of course he didn't know I was listening to the Bishop that same night. It is as I read that book that the Lord told me, “Just like Bishop Oyedepo, only do what I tell you regarding the church you are planning to start.” We have done our best to live according to the heavenly LAT script, and believe me, God is saying wondrous things about us as a church.

As a person or organisation, do not just exist to be. Go to God and find out the reason for your existence. You are too precious to live as circumstances dictate. No, you are a crown of glory, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God (see Isaiah 62:3) with a special assignment. Fulfill that assignment, and thereby find fulfillment in life. And by living according to the pattern God wrote of you before the foundation of the earth, you will put a smile on His face.

God bless you.
