God is indeed God. But for us Christians, He is not just God; He is also our Father. This is the most important revelation that came to man when Jesus walked the earth. The Jews mostly had a limited understanding of who God is. But Jesus came and revealed Him as Father.

Unfortunately, many of us Christians, the writer not excepted, still deal with God as just God. But our God wants us to relate with Him at a higher level – the level of Daddy. When we accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we became sons and daughters of God – God became our Daddy. To the world that has no Jesus, God is God, full stop. But to us who have been born again by the Spirit, God is more than that; He is also a loving Daddy to us.

It is very crucial that we really grasp the revelation of the fatherhood of God. That revelation just by itself will deliver us from many things that trouble us. For example, many of us suffer from what is commonly known as inferiority complex. But if our minds get renewed to the fact that the All-powerful God, the Creator of Heaven and Earth, who has the world at His fingertip is our loving Daddy, we will never again feel inferior in our interactions with people.
