I have said before that the title of this series, “Entering Our Promised Land”, is now a misnomer because, as you should know by now, we actually already entered the land of our promises. However, the misnomer shall continue to be used for the sake of continuity of the series.

“Even the most glorious Promised Land would be a terrible place without Him (God),” wrote Rick Joyner in one of his books. This is a true statement worth pondering. We should come to a place in our spiritual growth when we know for certain that a Promised Land without God is not worth it, and it can cause us to eternally lose our souls. That is why our Lord Jesus said that, “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?” (Mark 8:36).
