
Our children, born and yet to be born, are blessed of God because we their parents are. After Sunday 11th September when I laid hands on the children and blessed them, God told me twice, including in a dream, that I had to also pronounce a blessing over the parents and parents to be. The Lord explained to me that He had blessed the children as a consequence of the blessing on their parents, because of their commendable walk with Him. “Therefore,” said God to me, “Also speak a blessing over each parent and parent to be.” That I did.

When last Sunday I finished preaching and sat down, a thought came to me that I should call up to the adults’ church all the children in Sunday school so that I bless them. After all, I had taught about them being blessed by God, particularly their parents’ responsibility in ensuring that they, the children, are blessed of God. So, as soon as that thought crossed my mind, I requested the person seated behind me to go downstairs and tell all the children to come up. When I felt like the children were delayed in coming, I sent a second person to get them up as quickly as possible. When they came, I got them to stand in front of the church. I then laid my hands on every child, as I spoke God’s blessing over them. I learnt after the service that I had executed the perfect will of God.
