It is written twice in the Bible about Enoch that he walked with God (Genesis 5:22, 24). That walking with God was so great that it resulted in Enoch being taken out of the earth alive! I believe that it is God’s desire that it is also written about us in the books of heaven that we walked with Him. It is for that reason that walking with God should top the list of our pursuits.
I ended last week’s article with the statement: “The good news is that thereafter . . . we shall escape the wrath of God.” By that I meant, as I explained in depth, that it will only be after the terrible events of the Great Tribulation that Christians will be raptured to meet the Lord, so that they do not experience God’s punishment that will be unleashed upon those who will be left behind.
