As Christians we are called to love people, especially our own brethren – the people who like us believe that Jesus is Lord and Saviour. One of the most important ways we are instructed to love our own is by giving to them financially and materially when they are in need and we are in position to help them. Therefore, sharing or giving should always be on our minds, and we should hear a lot more of it from our pulpits.
When Jesus returns, everything will become good, and even much better throughout the Millennium. He is coming to make all things new. For this reason, we should really love His return and sincerely pray for His kingdom to come just as He taught us (Matthew 6:10).
