Last week, we ‘heard’ Jesus calling us to be among the few who are entering the kingdom of God through the narrow gate. “Narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it” (Matthew 7:14).
A story is told of a king who held a wedding for his son. When invites were sent out, the invited made light of it and gave excuses as to why they could not attend the wedding. Some of them even killed the couriers!
