LAT is a small church, and many of us are in one way or the other partners with great servants of God like Andrew Wommack and Elvis Mbonye. Considering just those two parameters, it is a wonder that we effortlessly pay our rents three days a week, hire a public address system and instruments, fund evangelistic missions, pay tuition for university students, and the list goes on.
If I was not in the ministry but aspiring to, LAT would be my case study. I would seek to know how a small church with many of its members partnering with other ministries can be able to do what they are doing without coercing the members.
The case study would reveal three factors that explain the miracle of LAT’s financial stability. First and foremost, LAT strives to do only what God tells us. Generally, God never pays for things He did not order; therefore, as a church, we steer clear of doing things born of the flesh. Secondly, the grace of giving is within our church; wherever that grace is bestowed, people are supernaturally empowered to give beyond their natural ability (2 Corinthians 8:1-3). And that leads me to the third reason for our financial wellbeing: we have not received the grace of giving in vain (1 Corinthians 15:10). Grace for any assignment must not only be received, it must also be utilized. That is what every one of you has done; you have not just received the grace to give, you have actually put that grace to work. You have given.
It is for those reasons that we have done what a few members congregation ideally cannot do. We mustn’t be surprised therefore that “Kenneth and Gloria Copeland” are in LAT now. We received the grace to give, we went ahead and gave; now our seeds are going to be multiplied so that we can be enriched in everything for all liberality (2 Corinthians 9:10, 11).

We must continue giving. As a Pastor who is passionate about generosity, you can be sure of this one thing from me: in addition to using your offerings for the smooth running of the church, giving as we are led by God will always be a top priority. Jesus said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35). For that reason, LAT will always be blessed to receive money so as to give it away towards God-sanctioned causes.
I encourage you therefore to give more and more to your church, so that the management can on your behalf give more and more. We have a great administrator in Rachel. Once in a dream, Prophet Elvis Mbonye said, “Rachel is good at handling money.” Yes she is, and the two of us will ensure that among other noble things, LAT gets known in heaven for philanthropy.
At this juncture, let me thank Dr. Bridget Nzarubara and Ms. Judith Kiiza who have been consistent in their monthly contributions towards evangelism. Bridget and Judy, from every penny you gave, we sent a tithe to Prophet Elvis. The remaining 90% all went towards evangelism.
Givers we are, and givers we shall always be. Test us by sending us the money.
God bless you.
