Once upon a time, there lived a man called Adam, who had a wife called Eve. One day, the devil came and spoke lies to Eve in the presence of Adam who stupidly kept silent, instead of counteracting the deception. The rest, as we know, is history – mankind sinned and fell.

In Jesus Christ, the Church has a husband (Ephesians 5) better than the first Adam. Jesus will never remain silent when there is a threat to His bride; He will without hesitancy speak out against any person or anything that becomes a danger to His Church. He does so because He is not a respecter of persons, and He must protect His bride.

When in July 2017 I started having dreams implying that a certain preacher (call him Nicodemus) had become dangerous to the body of Christ, I was puzzled as to why God would candidly reveal such information about His servant. My answer then was that since I am a leader in the Church, God thought it proper to put me in the loop. However, when later in December, a lady who was neither in leadership nor mature in the things of God dreamt that Nicodemus had completely failed to operate in his gifting and was driving his car in reverse, I remembered that God is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34 KJV).

Jesus exposes leaders if they go off track, and especially if they are hurting or defiling His bride. Worse still, He will pass on this information to anyone ready to listen – even to the youngest of Christians.

Last Wednesday, a certain lady sent me a message, thanking me for Pastor Moses’ Word for the Week entitled The Good Shepherd. She said it was the answer to a friend’s dreams. Her friend had a dream where Nicodemus turned into a woman and then the people around him started cutting off her hair. If a man or woman turns into the opposite sex, it definitely means that they are not what they appear to be. In another dream, the same friend dreamt that as Nicodemus prayed for her, he started extracting something precious from her. Since then, she has not returned to Nicodemus’ meetings.

God has spoken to many people in their dreams concerning Nicodemus; but since they have created a god, it is anathema to them to even consider that the dreams could be true. To others, God has spoken by the mouths of time-tested dreamers of dreams. But again, since their god is infallible, any dream that is not in his favor is immediately discarded without even a simple prayer saying, “God, could this be true?” And definitely, He has spoken to everyone by the inner witness of their hearts.

Jesus has done His part in protecting His bride. Unlike the first Adam, the last Adam understands that a good husband has to speak out against anything or anyone that attempts to defile His bride. And He will continue doing so by His friends who rejoice greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice (John 3:29).

Let the bride who has ears listen to what the Husband is saying.

God bless you.
