It is exactly twenty two years since the Lord told me about building Him a church that is now Last Adam Tabernacle. We started this work in August 2014, and the testimony from Heaven is that our progress has been very good and satisfactory. Our desire is that we should finish right, to the glory of God for whom we are building.
On 2nd November 2000, God clearly spoke to me from 1 Chronicles 22:5 that I would one day build Him a house of great magnificence, fame, and splendor in the sight of all the nations. This message came to me twice that day. Firstly, it was in the morning while I was reading the Bible as part of my cover-to-cover schedule. When I got to 1 Chronicles 22:5, the Presence of God came strongly upon me, and a sweet warmth filled my heart. I then knew that the Lord had spoken to me by that scripture. Secondly, it was later that evening as I switched on the television after many weeks of not doing so. I was immediately shocked to find Wilfred Lai reading 1 Chronicle 22:5: “My son Solomon is young and inexperienced, and the house to be built for the Lord should be of great magnificence and fame and splendor in the sight of all the nations.”
Fourteen years later on 31st August 2014, we begun building God’s house. Interestingly, although we have little or nothing at all in the natural to show for our labor, God has often spoken to us in various dreams that we are still on track and are doing very well. Two dreams quickly come to mind in this regard.
The first dream was on 26th June 2019. Therein, several churches were having their services at the same time in one large auditorium. At a certain point during the service, I moved out to help somebody with something. On returning, I realized that all the other pastors had already begun their sermons. This frightened me because I took it as a sign that I was very late to deliver my sermon to LAT. In fact, because I felt very embarrassed to even walk up to the pulpit, I literally sneaked into the auditorium and sat at the back where LAT had congregated. However, when I looked at my watch, the time was around that which we normally start our sermons. That did not matter. In my mind, the fact that other pastors were already preaching and I wasn’t, meant I was very late. I felt terribly bad for being late! The amazing thing is that as I awoke from the dream, in my heart I was singing the words of a popular song, “Who has the final say? Jehovah has the final say”. This dream was meant to comfort us that in Heaven’s perspective we were running on schedule as far as building God’s house was concerned. We did not have to think otherwise, just because of the visible progress of other churches. Hallelujah!
The second dream came two years later on 30th August 2021, the exact last day of our seven years of existence. In the dream, I had been admitted to Budo for ‘A’ Level from another school. On the first day of school, I met my sister somewhere within the school premises praying seriously. When I interrupted her and asked what she was praying for, she said, “I am interceding for you, so that you take a much shorter time to complete this next phase than you did the previous one.” This self-explanatory dream was God telling us that indeed our progress was right on track. Hallelujah!
Since that second dream, other dreams have come through several church members to the effect that we are still building God’s house in accordance with His timetable for us. Therefore, let us continue building right as we have always done, until we become what God intends for us – a church of God that is of great magnificence and fame and splendor in the sight of all the nations. And let us pray that when we finally become the kind of church that God always desired, we shall not fall from that status.
He who begun a good work in us will complete it, only if we cooperate with Him as we have always done.
God bless you.
