When prophets met and worked together, the Bible called them the company of prophets (see 2 Kings 2:3, 5 NIV). There has now emerged another group of people in Uganda that I refer to as the Company of Givers; they are found at Last Adam Tabernacle (LAT).

What we are experiencing as a church financially is very abnormal – it is supernatural. The generosity being displayed by the members is mind-blowing; it can only be attributed to God. It is evident that there is a Spirit of giving that has invaded us. As I take note of how every church project is funded by the giving of God’s people, I stand amazed. And hearing testimonies of how these same people are financially and materially blessing each other makes me exclaim, “What is this!”

In order to receive money from Christians, preachers employ several carnal tactics including ridiculous promises of benefits that will result from the giving. That has not been the case at LAT, everything has been done with uttermost honesty and integrity. To God we give the glory, and may His generous children be abundantly supplied.

A few months ago, our church premises’ rent was doubled. Recently, we celebrated our second anniversary. Immediately thereafter, we had to fund Apostle John Eziel’s evangelistic crusade in Zirobwe. Financing for all the above has been the generous contribution of a church which has less than 100 real members.

Currently, we are in the process of publishing the book Financial Prosperity, Breaking the Back of Poverty. By Friday evening of last week, we had all the monies required to publish and order 600 copies of this book from the United Kingdom. At the end of the church service on Sunday, I Moses gave commandment . . . saying, “Let neither man nor woman bring any more for the offering of the book.” For the money we had was sufficient for all the work to publish and order 600 copies, and too much (see Exodus 36:6, 7). Yet some people like our dear Pesh Migisha, Mariam Kitunzi, Jessica Bako and Zelda Nagawa disobeyed the commandment of their Pastor, and still brought in more money. Then there is Jean Namutebi who insisted that she too is bringing her financial contribution! May their rebellion be blessed of God who delights in their prosperity. Actually, that extra money will go towards launching the book on the 18th of December 2016.

A company of givers has emerged in Uganda, at LAT. That means a company of the rich is emerging within the body of Christ in our country, for financial abundance follows love-motivated giving. LAT is becoming like the Philippians who were addicted givers to Paul the apostle. What happened to them, is happening to the LAT givers – fruit is abounding to their accounts (see Philippians 3:17).

My prayer is for everyone else reading this who is not a member of LAT; catch this Spirit of giving and be a blessing to what God wants to accomplish through your church.

God bless you.
