Temptation is part and parcel of our life. It started right at the beginning of the Garden of Eden. Adam and Eve succumbed to temptation and are an example of what not to do. Jesus was tempted but triumphed and is the ultimate example of how to handle the enemy. Saints have always been lured by the same three temptations Eve and Jesus experienced. Satan doesn't change his methods; he doesn't have to because they continue to be successful. With the help of Jesus, triumphing over temptation is not only possible but sure.
