Without trying to start controversy, let me say this: I would not quickly cast stones at anyone who says that Jesus has a twin. Of course Jesus is not a twin with anyone, but it could be said that this is how He described His relationship with the Holy Spirit.

Talking about the Holy Spirit, Jesus said, "I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper," John 14:16. In Greek, the language in which the New Testament was originally written, there are two words that are in English translated another. The first is heteros (another of a different kind), and the second is allos (another of the same kind).

It is the latter word allos that Jesus used to describe the Helper (Greek: Parakletos) the Father would send us. What Jesus essentially said was that we would never have to miss Him, and all the good He accomplished in His ministry would never have to cease. Why? Because One who looks, sees, feels, speaks and operates exactly like Him was going to take His place in our lives. Hallelujah.

More so, in John 16:7, Jesus said that us remaining with His identical twin (please forgive my unbiblical description of the wonderful Holy Spirit) was to be a much better deal than Jesus staying with us. In His earthly ministry, Jesus never resided inside any person. Yet in the dispensation of the Spirit, the Presence of God would abide in every child of God. Additionally, by the Holy Spirit, believers were going to do greater works than those Jesus did (John 14:12). These were the key advantages for Jesus' departure and the coming of the allos Parakletos - a Helper exactly the same as Jesus.

Now, let us apply this understanding of a "more advantageous twin" to your life. There is a work God appointed for you which is similar to someone else's. However God's wish for you is that you become greater and of more benefit to the Kingdom than that person. Jesus never limited the accomplishments of the Spirit in us to His works. He said that we, because of the Holy Spirit, would do greater exploits. This essentially means that no man or woman should limit your experience of God - even Jesus said He would not confine His "twin" in us from superceding Him.

Therefore my brother and sister, endeavour to be the best for Jesus, better than those who have gone ahead of you. Believe me, in doing so, God is more than glorified.

Many Christians want to walk with the Lord to the level Apostle Paul did. In his book The Final Quest , Rick Joyner wrote how Jesus told him that He wishes believers would outdo Paul in their walk with Him. It is evident then that Jesus hates it when we set Paul as the limit and ultimate. That also implies that Jesus hates it when we limit what He can do through us to those who preceded us.

About six years ago, I had a spiritual dream in which I looked exactly like the great Prophet Elvis Mbonye. A year later, a workmate of mine then dreamt of Prophet Elvis saying to people, "I am going to raise up a man who will do everything that I can do." In the dream, he then pointed at me saying, “This is the man who will do everything that I can do.” Then about four years ago, Prophet Paul J Samuel also dreamt Prophet Elvis telling his fellowship that, “By the way, what you guys don't know is that I and Moses are twins in the spirit.”

If there is someone I would like to be like as far as the prophetic ministry is concerned, it is none other than the gentleman at whose wedding I was the best-man; I am talking about our remarkable Prophet, Elvis Mbonye. Yet even with my God-inspired desire to one day become like my "twin", I do not want him to be my limit. I wanna go higher, and do greater things than Elvis, the Prophet I look up to.

You too should go for the higher call; to accomplish more, become greater, and be more pleasing to God than your forerunners and everyone else. There is more in God for you than any human has yet experienced. Do not cheat yourself.

The reason why there is publicly no prophet right now better than Prophet Elvis Mbonye as far as the demonstration of a prophet's mandate is concerned could be because he has never let himself be limited by man. Prophet Elvis has said it before that he was greatly inspired by Kenneth E Hagin and Rick Joyner. Yet in my opinion, the prophetic demonstrations that I know of Hagin and Joyner do not match what I have seen and heard of Prophet Elvis. Again, I believe this is because he has never limited himself even to those he greatly admires and respects.

It is for that reason that I myself will not be limited by him; I am going to do greater works than my "twin." When that will happen I do not know. Right now, he is too far; seemingly uncatchable. But the same allos Parakletos in him, is the same One abiding in me. So, I shall get there and do greater than the Navigator as long as I keep my motives pure.

I beg you: do not quench the Spirit of God in you; allow Him to make you the best God desires you to be. Honor those of like callings, and be inspired by them. But you were never called to be just like them. Let Elisha who did twice as much his mentor Elijah be your example. Glory to God.

Let us all imitate Prophet Elvis Mbonye by refusing to be limited by mortal humans. That way, we shall turn into "what eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor entered into the heart of man," to the glory of God.

God bless you.
