It seems highly probable that the dream I had on 24th January 2018 is related to the subject I have been addressing: preparing to prosper in the coming financial famine. The dream starts as I arrive in Kampala from an upcountry region. A terrible storm has hit the city. There is severe darkness, yet it is daytime. Thick dark clouds fill the skies. Within the clouds, I see very ugly creatures which are obviously demonic entities. Some appear like animals, while others look like humans. The creatures are so fierce, and they try to attack anyone who identifies and stares at them. What is puzzling is that the upcountry town I had been visiting was experiencing bright sunny weather - the exact opposite of the darkness and gloom in Kampala. And the dream ends.
Most of you are aware of the dream I had on 12th January 2018,in which Apostle John Mulinde told me and others that Western Europe will once again do something that will negatively impact Uganda’s economy. He concluded that prophecy by saying, “Get ready: not to live a great life, but a greater life.”
The second dream is very similar to what happened when the ninth plague came upon stubborn Pharaoh and his Egypt: “There was thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days. They did not see one another; nor did anyone rise from his place for three days. But all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings” (Exodus 10:22-23). If the second dream is related to the first, it reiterates God’s promise that you will not be affected by the coming famine; God will make a distinction between you and the unbelievers (Exodus 8:23).
Before the seven-year famine came to Egypt, God revealed it to Pharaoh in dreams of the night. Because of Joseph, Jacob and his little growing nation prospered in that famine. This is exactly what God is doing with us now. He is telling us that a famine is coming, we should prepare for it, and if we do so, we shall live greater lives. The required preparation is generosity and saving some money. That is what Joseph and the Antioch Christians did to shield themselves from the hard times that were to come (see Genesis 41:28-36 and Acts 11:28-30).
Arise, shine;
For your light has come!
And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
And deep darkness the people;
But the LORD will arise over you,
And His glory will be seen upon you.
(Isaiah 60:1-2)
