Yesterday morning, my heart was overtaken by good thoughts regarding godly financial prosperity. What specifically drew my thoughts in that direction was a one minute walk I took around our home just before getting into the car to drive our children to school. That walk got me to appreciate, just as I do daily, the beauty of our house, compound, and the distant scenery. I could not but thank God for having prospered us financially, thus enabling my wife and I to have such a wonderful home.

My thoughts and gratefulness for God’s financial prosperity did not just stop at what He already did, but went further to the financial prosperity which He has promised not only us the Musinguzis, but also several church members. Two particular dreams, which were once shared on this forum, came to mind in this regard.

The first dream was that which I had on Saturday 30th November 2019. In the dream, I and other students (from my high school) who included a one Kwesiga Steven and another Andrew Ddembe had sat our Ordinary Level exams at Kisubi and passed. Kwesiga was already on his way to Budo for Advanced Level instead of returning to Kisubi. He was going to do MEG. I also planned to do MEG at Budo, and tried persuading Andrew Ddembe to come with me. Still in the dream, the headmaster of Budo was Joseph Tinkasimire. I went to his office to seek admission, and there I found other students, who included Mark and Rachel Wamai, who also wanted to join Budo.

This first dream was definitely a message of financial increase to us LAT members because of the following reasons: 1) Our fellow church members, Rachel and Mark, featured, and therefore, 2) Steven Kwesiga and Andrew Ddembe were symbolic of two other church members, Albert Kwesiga (not with us any more), and Andrew Ssebugwawo, 3) Two days earlier on Thursday 28th November 2019 at our prayer meeting, I had prophesied to Andrew concerning God increasing him financially, and I had used Psalm 112, 4) Passing Ordinary Level in order to join Advanced Level speaks of progress, and 5) MEG is a subject combination done by students who intend to study finance-related degrees at University.

The second dream regarding financial prosperity that came to my mind yesterday was that which I had on 28th November 2019, only two days prior to the first one that we have just dealt with. In that dream, Sam Isoke and I, as well as other students had passed exams. We were therefore admitted to University to study electrical engineering. Ours was a small class. Our teacher was Professor Ezra Suruma. He had a white paper on which different diagrams were drawn. These diagrams had areas that were shaded black, and those that were not shaded. He was teaching us to distinguish the shaded parts from the unshaded ones. The class was a very easy one.

This dream was also definitely a message of financial prosperity to us as LAT for the following reasons: 1) Prof. Suruma is an economist and was at one time a Finance Minister, 2) Sam Isoke and I are members of a small (for now) church, and 3) We had passed exams to go to University, a sign of progress.

Now, it seems to me that these dreams have never come to pass. I do not know whether significant financial increase ‘befell’ Albert Kwesiga. However, concerning the other people in the dreams (me included), who I believe were representing many other church members, we have not seen big time increase in our finances. Note that about four months after those dreams in March 2020, the country went into lockdown because of Covid-19. This had negative consequences on the finances of almost every Ugandan. Yes, my wife and I, and the Isokes may have managed to complete building our houses thereafter, but I do not believe that we experienced what God spoke to us by those dreams.

So, what happened? Well, I believe that God was speaking of a time to come which is most probably now, since we have already entered our Promised Land. Hallelujah!

God bless you.

PS: In the dream of 30th November 2019, the headmaster of Budo was Joseph Tinkasimire who in real life was the headmaster of Kisubi. Since in real life he admitted me back to Kisubi, it means that the dream was saying that my, and your admission to Budo for MEG – speaking of financial increase – was certain back then in 2019.
