Yesterday morning, I caught myself meditating on something stressful. I immediately stopped doing so and instead focused my thoughts on what we are called to be as a church - a house of great magnificence and fame and splendour in the sight of all nations (1 Chronicless 22:5), and a light to the nations (Isaiah 49:6). When I did that, great joy replaced the stress. I was left wondering why, at that particular moment, God led me to meditate on the great things He has planned for our church.
A couple of hours later, I 'chanced' on a TV program of an American lady preacher whom I really love listening to. She is actually right now, my best preacher on TV. She was talking about how to live by what God has spoken to you and seeing that Word fulfilled. She then supported her point with Exodus 25:9, 40, in which God told Moses to build the tabernacle with the exact plan that He had showed him. She ended her great teaching with a call to always meditate on the Word God spoke to you. She read Joshua 1:8: This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Interestingly, on Sunday, I had planned to tell you about that lady preacher. I even had her name - Nancy Dufresne - written down. And there she was, preaching with Exodus 25:9/40 about living by what God has spoken to you, the exact same message and scripture that I delivered unto you on Sunday. And, she concluded her teaching by imploring listeners to always meditate on the Word God spoke to them, the exact same thing God had led me to do a couple of hours earlier!
I am really convinced that this experience was God's way of speaking to you and I that what we had on Sunday - Success and Victory By Simple Obedience - was a message from the Lord. If we live by what He has told us to do, always meditating on that Word, then we shall see that Word come to pass. We shall prosper, and we shall be a big-time success in God's perspective. For that, we shall be blessed in all eternity for having done the will of God.
God bless you.
