Mrs. Joan Isoke once told me of a heartbreaking pledge devil worshippers in Uganda make to Satan during some of their rituals. When Satan asks them, “Will you also give me your children in return for what I have to offer?” they respond in the affirmative saying, “We will indeed give you our children!” These Satanists pledge not only to dedicate their children to Satan, but also to kill them as sacrifices should the devil demand so! This is the same absurdity which the Israelites who forsook God committed when “They built the high places of Baal which are in the valley of the Son of Hinnon, to cause their sons and daughters to pass through the fire to Molech” (Jeremiah 32:35).

While worshipping God the last two Sundays in the song “Osinzibwenga Yesu” by Beatrice Namutebi, I felt the Lord asking me, “Will Last Adam Tabernacle always worship Me for as long as it exists? Will you still worship Me when all My good promises to this church come to pass?” My heartfelt answer was the title of the song: “Osinzibwenga Yesu” (May you always be worshipped, Jesus). It is when I was having this conversation with God that I remembered Joan’s story of the Satanists’ pledge to Satan.

We have been known as a church in heaven for great and sincere worship. Since the early days of our church, God has not only told us so in dreams, but He has also guided our worship team on what to do. For example, sometime ago there was a dream that someone was spoiling the milk tea the worship team was making, implying that something had to be done. Then more recently, just after one month into her maternity leave, God in a dream instructed Esther Mayani to return and help the team because one of the worship team members who was leading many sessions was getting tired. That to me shows that God is intimately involved with our worship team, and He wants our worship unto Him to remain great, and even become better.

Now that we are in our Promised Land when God’s promises to our church are going to be fulfilled, He is asking us: “Shall you still always worship Me in Spirit and in truth? Shall you continue to love Me?” Individually and corporately we should all answer “yes” to Him. For if Satanists can pledge to sacrifice their children to Satan and his false gods, how much more should we who know and belong to the one true God pledge to never cease worshipping Him? Indeed, Onsinzibwenga Yesu in Last Adam Tabernacle.

God bless you.
